Twenty Live is no doubt the most demanding webRTC project that we have developed up to now. Twenty Studio, Scandinavia’s most innovative full service brand studio, asked for a web application that would allow the studio to connect with its clients in real time during recording sessions. These online sessions had to support up to four participants with two-way video and audio streaming for real-time communication.
The real challenge, however, was a different one – Twenty Studio set unique specifications regarding the quality, bitrate, stereo, echo cancellation, etc. of the streamed audio and video signal between the participants. The studio should stream HD video and stereo 320kpbs opus sound while the rest of the participants stream low-resolution video and monophonic, low-quality sound that perfectly serves the communication. Not only did we implement these requirements, but we further evolved the software so that the administrator can now manually set the special characteristics on the sound and video signal for each participant when setting up a new project.
Our cooperation with Twenty Live still goes on as we support and evolve the project under the perfect guidance of (without a doubt our man at Twenty) Johan Folke.
